The Weekend Animal Farm Experience

An Unmissable Family Adventure – Get Up Close with Our Adorable Farm Animals!

Looking for a one-of-a-kind, heartwarming experience the whole family will never forget? Step into the charming world of Creswick Woollen Mills and spend 30 magical minutes with our beloved farm animals — a hands-on, up-close encounter that’s as fun as it is educational!

This is so much more than a petting zoo — it’s a hands-on adventure into the heart of Australia’s wool heritage. Guests can meet the very animals that make our story possible, including our cheeky Merino sheep Pearl, Shaun, and Baba; the irresistibly fluffy, black-nosed Valais brothers, Milo and Timmy; and of course, our pint-sized crowd favourites: Billy the miniature goat and Vincent Van Goat, our long-eared Nubian with a personality as big as his name.

But the magic doesn’t end there! You’ll also have the rare chance to meet our gentle alpacas who call the Mill home: Juicy Bear, Choc, and little Snowdrop from the Huacaya breed, as well as Soloman — a breathtaking and rare Suri alpaca. These friendly characters adore greeting new visitors and make every visit feel special.

During your visit, you’ll learn about the care and passion that goes into raising these incredible animals, and the sustainable practices that make Creswick Wool a leader in ethical wool production. It’s a perfect blend of fun, connection, and education — all in a stunning country setting.

Whether you're a curious child, an animal lover, or simply looking for something truly memorable to do, this interactive farm experience is a must. It’s not just a visit — it’s a moment you'll treasure.

Come meet the stars of the Mill — and leave with a deeper appreciation for nature, wool, and the warmth of country life.
